We are teachable. Mindfulness, education and communication are essential in cultivating an inclusive environment in which all MOM’s employees are treated, developed, and promoted fairly.
We rise by lifting others. Our social justice journey is ever-evolving, and there is always more work to be done. We are focused on progress, not perfection.
Indifference makes no difference. We continue to fund and partner with nonprofits that are impactful in the social justice movement. We seek to create, facilitate, and encourage change that has a tangible effect in the community around us.

We incorporate social justice themes into training materials across the company. This is an ever-evolving process, which will continue to develop and grow.

We strive for fairness in the application process with the goal of diversifying our pipeline of candidates, managing bias, and building an even more inclusive environment at MOM’s.
Reporting Unfairness/Bias/Harassment
We create resources and procedures to provide a safe and transparent space for MOM’s Team Members to report instances of unfairness, bias, and harassment.

Reparations
HR40 – Commission to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African-Americans Act
- To address the fundamental injustice, cruelty, brutality, and inhumanity of slavery in the United States from 1619-1865 and to establish a commission to study and consider a national apology and proposal for reparations for the institution of slavery, its subsequent de jure and de facto racial and economic discrimination against African-Americans, and the impact of these forces on living African-Americans.

- To prohibit disparate environmental impacts on the basis of race, color, or national origin as discrimination, and to provide that aggrieved persons may seek legal remedy when faced with such discrimination.

- To establish an interagency Environmental Justice Mapping Committee that must create a tool to identify “environmental justice communities”: communities with significant representation of communities of color, low-income communities, or tribal and indigenous communities that experience, or are at risk of experiencing, higher or more adverse human health or environmental effects, as compared to other communities.
